Between Seinfeld and Facebook |

| Anyone who is aware of what's going on the blogsphere noticed the big buzz around Facebook huge success.Only in Israel over 100,000 people joined the rising network in less then 2 months (out of total population of 6,000,000 you do the math).Recently I decided to close my Facebook account, together with the rest of other social networks I held account with, I decided it's better concentrate in one place and when I had to choose between Facebook and the internet I chose the latter to spend my online time.The reason I didn't choose Facebook is because I think that in the long term the internet is here to stay, the internet is first of all a place for musicians and music will always be here to unite people and make them come back.Facebook as of now got nothing to offer, it looks more like something created in Seinfeld's spirit "A network about nothing" although Seinfeld's "show about nothing" had a lot of everything in it, and for the last 10 years it is doesn't want to go away, not to mention every Facebook page looks the same, its consistent, and its easily navigated, I believe simplicity brings stupidity and I admit that after spending so many hours on the internet edit page trying to edit this HTML code I'm not going to surrender now! |
