| Now, the sad part is that new agers can so easily take in someone who is "seeking for something higher".I know this because 27 years ago, I got drawn in - much to my current shame.I was introduced to the new age by a respected supervisor at work in 1980.I bought many books and devoured them, one by one.The books are clever lies of satan that make you think you have been enlightened and empowered.When you get drawn in, cleverly, satan starts putting witchcraft in your path.satan puts people in your path who will agree with him.Oh....he is a clever little devil...I was primarily drawn in because of my heart.You see, from childhood, I just knew there was more... |

| You see, from childhood, I just knew there was more...I seemed to always know that it could be found in the Bible.My first Bible was a dime-store, pulp paper, $1.00 Bible.When I was in the 5th grade, I found a book in the school library about world religions...I lugged that big old book home and learned all I could learn about the religions of the world.But you see....I was a child - thinking like a child - but a seeker nontheless.I had GOD, my BIBLE and religion all tied up in a knot!I was still searching in 1980 when ole slew foot managed to direct my attention to new age.Sadly, there is an alluring power that draws seekers and the lost to the new age thinking.I knew many good people - seekers - who were drawn in, same as me. PRAISE GOD - HE GOT MY ATTENTION!I began seriously reading my Bible. |

| I began seriously reading my Bible.Parts of the Bible that I never understood were revealed to me. A few years back, GOD told me to "CLEAN MY HOUSE"!Now, I keep a clean house, but I knew what HE was telling me! I had spent hundreds of dollars on those books that were sitting in the bookcase.I knew every one of them had to go.So that day, IMMEDIATELY EVEN, I cleared off those book shelves and, then, every new age type of book or object in my house all went into the garbage can.GONE!Then I went around my house (Please don?t think I am crazy!)holding my Bible high up over my head and I declared that this is a house of GOD and none other would be tolerated within these walls!I had to do that 2-3 times before I FELT the difference.Now - here?s the amazing thing....my home became a place of peace....differences I had with my husband disappeared...unexplained bad feelings DISAPPEARED....MY HOUSE FELT DIFFERENT - PEACEFUL - LOVING...I know this is long and I really am regretting that I am taking so much of your space, but I CANNOT WARN PEOPLE AWAY FROM THIS ENOUGH. |
