| Okay, so it's 11 pm on a Friday night.?I know a lot of people who are in their element right now, grooving to some sound system's mind-numbing SOUND (How the hell do you call it music when all you hear is LOUD, INTENSE BASS, ACOUSTICALS, AND SOME GUY IN BAGGY PANTS THAT SAG AROUND HIS NUT SAK performing some kind of hypnotic chant [not musical] that rhymes?).Sorry, got distracted.?Back on subject...Tonight, I met up with my most recent partner in crime, Dixie Diamond (I'd post a link but for some reason, I can't - Dixie?).?The purpose??Well, The?annual Art Car Parade is?tomorrow.??I can't be there and neither can Dixie so we met up tonight for the "preview".?This is where all the cars line up in display (I'm assuming in their ride order in the parade) for judging and placement.?For us onlookers, it's a chance to have a nice cheap evening out on a nice (but hot and humid) evening in Houston.I don't know about Dixie, but I had a good time.?I got to drink a couple of beers, take some fun pics, and buy stuff I liked.??? |
